Looking for school holiday activities in Rockhampton?

Our school holiday programs encourage children to explore, discover and engage with history in fun and memorable ways.

What’s On For the kids

Dedicated school holiday activities run on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the school holidays (excluding Public Holidays), 

Our school holiday specific activities run 9am - 11am and we encourage families to make a day of it with the Village museum displays remaining open for exploring until 3pm.

Entry is only $6 per person and includes all activities and rides. 

Activities may include:

  • Animal encounters
  • Vintage vehicle experiences
  • Family activities

Food and Drinks

Coffee, cold drinks and snacks are available from our historical Arnold’s Cafe (EFTPOS available) or grab a snag at the Friends of the Village sausage sizzle (cash only). 

IMPORTANT Information 

  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Slip, Slop, Slap and a Hat are required to be sun safe.
  • Enclosed shoes must be worn on all rides.
  • Only service animals are allowed. 
  • Our vintage vehicles are well-loved and may occasionally become unavailable due to unplanned maintenance.
