Christmas Markets | 28 November

Next date: Saturday, 28 November 2026 | 04:00 PM to 09:00 PM

The Heritage Village Markets offer a nostalgic Christmas experience, inviting families to celebrate the festive season with local food, live music, and more than 160 market stalls as part of the Christmas Starts Here Event Trail.

With a strong focus on handmade, locally crafted, and quality products, the markets showcase stallholders from across Central Queensland.

Visitors can explore a wide variety of retail offerings, including home-baked goods, candles, jewellery, leatherwork, woodwork, children's games, clothing, mini figurines, and models.

As one of the largest market events in the Rockhampton Region, the Heritage Village Markets provide a unique opportunity to support local businesses, purchase unique gifts and enjoy a memorable Christmas atmosphere.

Rides on vintage vehicles from 4pm. Get in early, for safety reasons vintage vehicle rides are only available during daylight hours.

No dogs allowed. Service dogs accepted.

Enclosed footwear must be worn on the rides.

Accessibility

Most parking areas are grassed and uneven, and accessing them requires crossing grass and gravel surfaces.

While there are paved roads around the Village, reaching most stalls involves navigating over grassed areas.

The Village features a variety of surface types, so we recommend that wheelchair users use all-terrain tyres for easier navigation.

Six accessible parking spaces are available in the bitumen carpark at the main entry: four located near the main entrance and two near the Shearing Shed.
